I can die happy!

ARMADILLO BUTT!!!!!!!
(real entry below)

Once again lots of things going on! Spent last thursday on Cumberland Island. Its located south of St. Simons and you have to take a ferry to get there. Cool things about Cumberland are the really rich human history...and when i mean rich i mean Carnegie rich! Also the island has an awesome shark tooth pit where you can find fossilized sharks teeth! I think the pictures will speak better then me! I have been a little slow on these cause I do not have internet in my apartment! I will continue to try and keep up but with classes starting next Monday I will be busy!

Training and Pictures!

Training has been going amazingly well. The weather has been COLD! in the 30s so its cold! In the first 4 days of training I have dissected a fish, a squid, and a shark. I have been in the water even though its freezing and explored surrounding islands. Over the weekend Kacey and Steve and I took a little adventure...ok we got lost...and ventured to a plantation which was interesting to say the least!! So Today the group went to Jykell Island and did an awesome beach walk. Boneyard Beach is the some of the pictures you'll see here. We also visited the Sea Turtle rehabilitations center! The other pictures are various locations around where I live! Enjoy them, I love it here and the people are great!

Hey Y'all!

So Ben and I safely made it to St. Simons Island!! We left early on Friday morning and took our time and arrived on Sunday around 2:30. Along the way we stopped in Fredericksville VA to see the grave stone of Stone Wall Jackson's arm and we stopped in Savannah. St. Simons is beautiful, sort of like a Cape May NJ type town. My apartment is great and I will be sharing it with 6 house mates. Only one, Chris is here now. Ben and I spent Sunday exploring a little bit and then heading to a movie. I would not recommend AVP II. Early night then awaken at 7:30 by the obnoxious bells of the bell tower. It plays a song every half hour from 7:30 till 10. Everyone is extremely nice and starting on Thursday I will be very busy with training. LONG days and crazy adventures! I will be posting as much as I can but will probably wait till Friday to talk about the two first days of training. Feel free to mail things. Miss many of you already!
